Salesforce - Dreamforce Conference

  • Challenge

    The greatest software conference in the world, Dreamforce is a four-day conference from Salesforce that celebrates community. The event included product innovations, sessions, and strategic partnerships. 

    Our task was to come up with and create interactive games to illustrate each new feature of Salesforce and unite work teams, with a ‘Campsite’ theme and a lot of fun thrown in. We were also tasked with taking existing characters and illustrations and integrating them into games and scenes.

  • Approach

    Our team spent a day or two throwing concepts at the wall, and miraculously a few of them stuck. The team then continued and developed them - but the initial ideas were too fun not to share.

    The game Badge Catcher was born from the idea of teams of 4 Ghostbuster-like streams at a screen to catch badges. A cute game where you can physically race characters through a village to go through proof points. A projected dome idea came alive with animations and stories above keynote speakers.

  • Results

    Dreamforce’s conference filled downtown San Francisco with 171,000 registered attendees from 83 countries and 10 million online viewers, over 2,700 sessions, and hands-on access to Salesforce's latest product innovations, 400 partner companies, and 400 living trees.

    This huge and incredible project had brilliant feedback from attendees and it was a pleasure to be involved in the conception and design phases.

Illustration stitching

Using a vast array of Salesforce Illustration assets, I was tasked with stitching together several Dreamforce scenes for their display walls. Using hundreds of layers and taking into account several structures to avoid, the composition and arrangement of trees, plants, animals and adventure gear turned into some beautiful compositions.
